Founder's great-grandson buys Ach Brito from Novo Banco
After selling control of the century-old Ach Brito in 2015, Aquiles de Brito, the founder's great-grandson, has just repurchased the entire company. The deal, recently completed with the FCR PME Novo Banco fund, which has owned Ach Brito since 2015, marks the family's return to leadership of the brand. According to the company, "it is with great pride that we announce that Ach Brito is once again fully owned by the family that founded it." Ach Brito, founded in 1887, is the oldest soap and perfume manufacturer in Portugal, having undergone decades of change and managed to remain a benchmark in the industry. The goal now is to "write the next chapters of this century-old story" with the same values and ambition that characterize it.
